Cutting edges induction hardened for longer life and for more durable cutting. Cutting edge hardness approx. 60 HRC. Gripping zones for flat and round material for a variety of uses. Cutting edges for soft and hard wire. Long cutting edges for thicker cables. All insulated tools meet the requirements of ASTM F1505. Special tool steel; forged, multi stage oil-hardened.
